Spy x Family Season 4 Hasn't Been Confirmed Yet — But a Nov. 8 Event Could Change That

Season 3 ended without a follow-up announcement. Now the cast is reuniting onstage for the first time since 2024, and fans have one obvious theory about why.

Spy x Family Season 3 premiered in October 2025 and wrapped its run without the usual next-season announcement that typically lands the moment a popular anime's finale airs. Season 4 remains officially unconfirmed as of this writing — a gap that's unusual enough for a franchise this size that it's become the story in itself.

What's actually scheduled is 'SPY x FAMILY ANIME EXTRA MISSION II,' a live stage event set for November 8, 2026, at Belle Salle Takadanobaba in Tokyo, with separate afternoon and evening performances. The anime's official account announced it in May 2026, and it marks the main voice cast's first joint stage appearance since 2024 — which is exactly the kind of event franchises have historically used to drop a season renewal.

To be clear: nothing has actually been confirmed for the event beyond the cast showing up. The expectation that Season 4 gets announced there is fan and outlet speculation, not an official promise — and it's worth remembering that an earlier event, hyped the same way, came and went without a Season 4 reveal.

If a fourth season does get confirmed, the Term Finals, Love and War, and Term Break arcs are the widely expected next stretch of manga to adapt, which continues on a biweekly schedule. But until Tokyo on November 8 actually happens, that's the extent of what's known — a date, a venue, and a reasonable guess.
